Paragon’s Extensive Technical Knowledge and Vastro’s Extensive Experience Combine to Upgrade Spares Centre’s Outdated Dynamics GP Accounting System.
Paragon Software Solutions, a Microsoft® Partner, is teaming up with Namibia company, Vastro Technology and Software Solutions, to support local Namibia clients with Microsoft Dynamics® GP implementations, upgrades and support. Most recently, Paragon and Vastro collaborated to upgrade Spares Centre (PTY) Ltd from version 5 of Dynamics GP on Btrieve to the most recent version on Microsoft SQL. Spares Centre initially implemented Dynamics GP 12 years ago for its accounting system, but was encountering limited functionality, hardware issues as well as decreasing customer support with the older version.
“By upgrading to the latest version of Dynamics GP, we were able to eliminate all paper work, better manage inventory, provide proper reporting to management for decision making, and in turn, increase sales,” said Tanya Kuhn, Admin Manager at Spares Centre. “Microsoft Dynamics GP has really made our jobs easier, allowing our main focus on running our business. And, with Paragon assisting Vastro with all the necessary tools and support, we were able to remain focused on our business during the system upgrade as well.”
Spares Centre, Namibia, receives on-going technical support locally from Vastro with continuous technical and application support from Paragon.
“Vastro and Paragon complement each other nicely as we have the same business model, particularly with our philosophy of utilizing remote access for clients, so we are much more flexible on scheduling work than others,” said Makarius Shalumbu, Senior Consultant at Vastro. “We are happy to have the support and extensive knowledge of Paragon for use with customers in Namibia.”
With clients and resources around the world, Paragon’s global service model has been providing unlimited remote support to clients at anytime, anywhere in the world for more than 25 years – and for a fixed fee with no additional charges for “after hours.” Vastro Technology and Software Solutions is a 100% Namibian own company registered with the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
For more than 25 years, Microsoft Dynamics GP has delivered comprehensive out-of-the-box business management functionality-from financials and human resource management to manufacturing and operations-to power diverse small and midsize companies around the world. Today, more than 350,000 customers are using Microsoft Dynamics solutions to stay ahead of the competition and drive their business growth.
